Pineapples Comedy has been bringing the laughs to the Big Island of Hawaii since May 2021. We provide an inclusive and exciting environment for stand up comedy. Whether we're working with visiting comics, or the ever growing community of Hawaii comics, we're having a great time!

Katie Lynn & Yasir bey
Yasir Bey and Katie Lynn met in 2018 and started dating and doing stand up comedy simultaneously. A totally normal way to start any relationship. Together they produce, host, and perform numerous shows around the Big Island of Hawaii every month.
Yasir has a BA in Film, and has worked for networks such as Discovery Channel and HGTV. He has acted and directed in various productions at Aloha Theater. Katie is originally a visual artist, she paints murals throughout California and Hawaii, and has her own business Funny Girl Arts. Katie's background is in public speaking, with a BA in Communication Studies . They have two daughters and live in the jungles of South Kona, Hawaii.
Yasir has a methodical and thought provoking comedic style, prompting his audiences look at topics such as race, religion, and kid's movies a little closer. Katie's style is impulsive and uninhibited, approaching anything from body hair and fetishes, to motherhood and breastfeeding, in no particular order.
